Special Agent Caitlin "Kate" Todd
Caitlin Todd attended 1 year of Law School in Virginia before dropping out and pursuing a career as a Federal Agent. Prior Secret Service Agent assigned to the POTUS (President of The United States), protection detailed aboard Air Force One. Kate resigned when the Presidential "football" carrier she was romantically linked to was murdered. By a terrorist who poisoned Marine Major Tim Kerry and Navy Commander. Ray Trapp's dry cleaning. Her Secret Service record was cleared and appeared flawless. She worked as an NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service) Special Agent in Time of Service of 2 years. Kate' special talents she could perform was profiling, counterfeit bill analysis, protection details and sketch artist. Some of her of work talents were as follows; ballroom dancing, and an amateur figure skater. Kates favourite food was chinese, organic food, almonds, and soy based drinks. Kate was a former classmate of Special Agent Anthony Dinozzo at FLETC. Kate, Tony and Gibbs all trained in Quantico, Virginia.
Kate was assigned to NCIS the day she left the Secret Service aboard Air Force One. She was a pretty good Agent for those few days, of course first time agents do have their ups and downs. She met Abby and had no clue that she was a forensic scientist. She thought "goths had bats for pets" well it just proved to her that goths were good friends. Half way through the season she ran into gibbs' worst enemy Ari Haswari. He came on to her and tried to get himself closer to Gibbs' through Kate. He trapped her, Gerald and Ducky in autopsy and all that did was land Ari a shot shoulder. Kate and the team had been through so much that we hope it would have contunued...but it can't. At least we don't think so. But it might.
Kate has had many life threatening moments, one with Ari in autopsy and the other when Tony was infected with Y-pestis (genetically altered pneumonic plague). Kate risked her own health with the chances of becoming infected to watch over Tony. When the time came and Tony got worse, Kate cried into the arms of a friend, Ducky.
She made it through to the end while giving her own life to save Senior NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs' life on a roof top in Norfolk, Virginia. He threatened and torchered Kate' dreams till that terrorizing day. The team was told to lay down on this operation, ordered by NCIS Director Tom Morrow. Gibbs refused and the team was on their way to Norfolk. During this terrorist hunt down Gibbs, McGee, and Tony were able to destroy the drone and with one attempt Kate saved Gibbs' life and was shot at point blank range. The second attempt to save his life turned to a death that shook NCIS...Ari Haswari was able to gun down sadly, Special Agent Caitlin Todd. At the funeral they remember...A friend...a sister...a person he hoped would be more...a woman who was like a daughter...an Agent she would never know...and an Agent that saved his life. Now in place is Liason Officer Ziva David. A former Control Officer for the Mossad. But one could ever take Kate' place on the NCIS team...never.
